A Slice of Legend & Imagination.. 6th June 2014

A Slice of Legend..maybe my imagination? who knows?

I pieced together a story at the time these events were happening, during the 1990's..Russia was much different then.

In the 90's, Russia was and still had a internal war of self-identity, Boris Yeltsin was in-charge, but again Russia was a different place back then. The 90's was different, Bush Sr. had started a war with the Iraqis over oil and money, and Iraq is close enough to Russia for them to be worried. But that's not what happened.

Once upon a time, Russia was in financial chaos, they had spent too much money on objects of war, and now with the cold war ended, those things started to seem obsolete, and the people found it hard to get food, becuase of an inward collapsing economy. The Russian Secret Service was unhappy with Mr. Yeltsin's attempts at a freer market, and break RF apart, wow! He restructured the whole economy advised by western economists, from 1991 to 1993.. well I *think* the KGB freaked out, and started thinking 'we need to get rid of this guy'.. the events of the siege are well told and well known but if you afford me a little indulgence here is my version rem'd from bits and pieces watched one night on sky news.

Mr. Yeltsin was trapped inside the Russian White House, outside was the military, firing shells from tanks, inside many police were coming to capture and/or kill him, he had only a few loyal KGB..outside there were students protesting..saying he was going to bring peace and not to kill him. One of the students had a brother who was a soldier, she managed to get through and tell him all about Yeltsin and his plans for Russia being democratic, increasing the economy, while this was happening, the police had broken the lines of defence inside the RWH and were making their way to the central office where Mr. Yeltsin was, after the soldier had heard from his sister, he started letting the other troops know..they decided to side with Mr. Yeltsin, they stopped firing shells, sent a party to sneak him out, as the police and some KGB got to the main office Mr. Yeltsin was..gone..He was outside sitting in a tank and knowing the people he cared about were safe, he started shelling the main office.

I've got a good imagination huh? hahah..but hey it is what it is!

Quite different to the war criminal the 'other side' had.. God's goiny cut him down one day..and no amount of money will buy *that* guy out, oil or no oil.

America had a war criminal and they didn't put him in jail..oohhww.. thats..*not* new.
Nixon
Bush sr

When will america learn you need at least a 3 party system, 4 is *healthy* way to do it though, 3 is quite bad, 2 party is not a democracy, if you went to McDonalds and they had only two burgers..would you go back?? 4 is a resounding choice.

Mr. Yeltsin went through all that to bring peace and democracy to his country.. the US gov..just keeps repeating that American's already have it. they dont. mind washed into 'that would be wasted vote'.. I voted SNP all my life, when I started voting, the Labour supporters used to say that to me, wasted vote, now only 20 years later.. Alex Salmond is in power bringing the democracy he impassioned others to feel!

peace!
