Thoughts on some laws..

Jist wa'nt tæ share a few thots..

Around the world right now, there is clamp down on 'vaping' known as the healthy alternative tæ smoking, even the EU hus got in oan this, while I agree weh almost all of the EU measures (I'm Pro-EU masel), these measures are a regulation of; 6 to 24mg, 6mg being like 'low tar' cigarettes and 24mg being like cigars/tobacco pipe strengths, being certified in 'clean rooms' and being child proof, all of that sounds correct to me.. I heartily agree with that.. what I don't agree with is the maximum amounts which are sold in milliliters, they have put a cap of 10ml bottles, this is a bit absurd to me, when the 20ml was fine, and meant you didn't have to get more posted and had better quantities, erm.. how do I explain?.. a 10ml can last around 3 days, 20ml around a week, if you're buying a few, it's just a waste of bottles, giving us the choice of both 10ml and 20ml would have been sensible. Four 20ml and one 10ml (YMMV) *should* last you the month. I have not smoked for around 4 weeks now that I'm back on vaping.. I was vaping in the beginning of 2015 for 3 months (without tobacco 4 months total) , but due to the scottish nights being cold I developed a chest cough I couldn't shake until I began smoking again. now I have been vaping in 2017 for the last 2 months and as I said without tobacco for the last four weeks. imho.. 20ml is fine. they should have capped it there, not a measly 10ml.

E-Transport..I would love tæ see Scotland being a leader in e-transport, making progressive laws in e-biking and e-skateboarding, of course no usage oan highways, and only A and B roads, to be treated as we treat bicycles, but right now England is clamping down on e-transport, which is a bitter shame. These vehicles offer, insurance free, powered transport, which is eco environmentally sound, low cost, and available to all.

I was so relieved when Nicola Sturgeon mentioned Scotland's own control over immigration, I for one would LOVE to see this, as my fiancee and I have been trying tæ get her in the country for over three years without success, even though we meet the criteria.. well.. I have a review of the British Embassy here : https://www.facebook.com/pg/ukinthephilippines/reviews/?ref=page_internal

It outlines our experience.

I'd like to see 'Scottish Consulates' helping Scottish citizens and the British Embassies 'helping' rUK. Meaning I would know I would have a SNP Scottish civil servant , who was assessing our case, and not some hate filled Anti-Scots English Tory Civil servant. We would get an HONEST answer, one that I could trust (REALLY read my review.. you WILL be SHOCKED). To think these people get paid is an insult. heartbreaking!

jist wa'nted tæ share ma thots.. hope ye enjoyed the read.. may the day fun ye well!

A Kingdom Comprised of Four Countries..

Hi www

Hope everyone's having a great day.. it was raining earlier and I enjoyed the sound beating against my window :)

The United Kingdom is quite a 'unique' arrangement, around the world we have Tibet, Hong Kong, Macau and China. Tibet being a 'country' in the traditional sense without the autonomy that comes with that status. Israel and Palestine..but the closest 'correct' interpretation of our Kingdom, is most likely France and French Guiana, however both are willing parties to that arrangement, and France is known to be not just fair to other countries, but generous to them. Not so with England and Scotland.

I imagine this was not James' ideals for a 'United Kingdom' that there was imbalance..But since William II & III cared so little for Scotland, whatever James envisioned was washed away with the sea of money directed at Scottish Lords.

I have watched TV Shows about the topic, and the way the historians tell it, with much enthusiasm, James *truly* wanted a Kingdom of equals. Which as you know did not happen.. the English ruling us now for around 300 years. We FINALLY got our own parliament in 1999, the devolution referendum taking place 11th Sept. 1997.. which iirc, I think Alex Salmond commented was coincidentally the 290th anniversary of the Act of Union.

I have no doubt, the Act of Union is a very evil document, it is the same 'paper' on which Neville Chamberlain received his assurances from Hitler.. both documents have such a shared history. Did the Kingdom go on to do well?.. I think so, aside from the both pacifist and belligerent racism, which is horrifying in it's own right, The empire became a unifying force throughout the world and inventions and innovations moved quickly.. however this was during a time where Scotland was treated as an 'equal' due to Queen Victoria.. she favored us more than the English, which meant the Scots and English became equal for the first time since the beginning of the Union. We were listened to and respected, because the One person of the Kingdom listened and respected us. Other matters had happened..

I'm no expert, in fact, I read up on wikipedia about this in cursory fashion, but after a very long and drawn out fight, the Conservatives had finally beat the Whigs (party) into a final submission.. out of the two it seems the Whigs were some sort of Imperialist party, extreme right wing and the Conservatives being Center-right/right wing, the conservatives had invented all sort of things we accept as 'capitalism' today, many of the ideas also coming from their overseas trading partners.

In their successes, the later part of the 1800s, they began to build large high quality housing, this was an attempt at the time to fill out the middle class and make them work harder to become upper class, which was an idea just coming to light around that time, that people could move up the 'ladder' so to speak. I would hazzard a guess.. it was the last 'good' thing they did (aside from John Major's many pro's) for the Kingdom. Since Queen Victoria's era, they have, and I'm not making this up, they have : tried to rename Scotland as 'North Britain', shut down coal mines that were in profit, to spite the trade unions, but instead killed the links Scotland and England had, took our water for England and sold it to English tax payers, then sold the excess back to us, moved the maritime border to 'steal' more of Scotland's oil should we leave them.

Then there is the matter of : not a week goes by where I do not hear about another English Tory financial scandal.. that always seems to go unpunished. SHAME ON YOU!

I have yet to hear about a Scottish Conservatives financial scandal so this leaves me with the hope they are 'true conservatists' and not the monkey in a dress, that are the English Imperialists who name themselves the 'Conservatives'.

But that's the thing..IF you let people get away with it, then they will do it! and others will do it! I don't see it north of the border praise God!..but Imperialists getting caught for fraud and embezzlement.. why? because Imperialists don't believe that it's Illegal, and they will work hard to make laws that relieve them of liability. It's evil.

Grenfell tower.. another sad example of what the English Tories do.. my heart goes out to the victims. Ruth Davidson must be very angry with those English Tories.. and I recently heard she is thinking about *slightly* splitting the English and Scottish parties.. good for her! NO WAY I would take the barefaced cheek of the heat for something Theresa May, Imperialist cabinet etal~ did.

Imagine if you will.. all the hardwork Ruth Davidson put in to get some trust up here.. They ally with the DUP causing problems for the road ahead for N.I (and their stance on civil rights is why Ruth began talking about this) and there's YET AGAIN, an imperialist tactic showing the world how little the English Tories care for human beings, it was so I am told £5000/£2 per cladding extra to get it fireproofed. You see what I'm saying; evil. So yes.. good on Ruth for starting to suggest the Scottish Conservatives are a separate party.

The English Conservatives do : whatever is it on earth that brings tham the most money at that point in time. No morality. No value of human life. money money money..

To any Scottish Conservatist reading this.. break away from the English Tories. Form your own party, one that promotes independence, because being tied to England means the above will KEEP happening on a loop, until Scotland is free of those Imperialists. It's not hard to be a 'good person' and a Scottish Conservative..but it seems it's impossible to be a 'good person' and a English Conservative.

peace

First Class Citizen in Scotland, Second Class Citizen in England..

Hi www

To anticipate 'hate speech' rhetoric, yes I have English friends, and if they weren't nice to me they wouldn't be my friends..but without further a-do  here are my stories, I presently remember of being treated badly by English people because I was Scottish.

The one I keep remembering and the one that is inspiring me to write this article, is this one:

So I had just travelled for 60 hours long haul with many delays back from a living in the states for 3 months, I had to return early as the bank had blocked my card, this was extra expense to say the least, but was not the final problem I had to face..

I touched down in Heathrow Airport, after having Icelandair delay us all in reykjavik for an extra 4 hours, I was 20 minutes past the gate for my connecting flight to Glasgow, I went to the Ryan Air desk 2 girls were there, one instantly left, and the other was an English girl, I asked her if I was late and she said I was (the flight had also left 10 minutes early :/ ) I said to her to please transfer my ticket to the next flight to Glasgow but she refused, I was not amused, I did wonder if I had been English if she would have helped me, but ultimately I do not know, it wasn't her responsibility to fix my flight even though it would have been free for her to do so, and remember my card was blocked by the bank, which I explained to her.

I was shocked to say the least.

There were general repairs going on throughout the airport, I decided to go outside for a smoke and a think.. I collected my heavy bags and followed the crowd to the outside, by the time I made it down the detoured stairs, I was very very thirsty, I went outside, I approached a policeman who was standing by the door, I asked him 'excuse me, where can I get some water?' he blanked me, then I asked 'I need the toilet do you know where that is?' again he blanked me, some English people walked by him heading towards the stairs they smiled and said 'hello' he smiled back at them with acknowledgement, which was apparently too costly to afford me also. I wanted his acknowledgment, so I looked at all the cigarette butts surrounding the bin and said 'OK TO SMOKE HERE?' to which he looked at the blue bin and nodded. It wasn't a case of that he didn't understand my Scots.. he wouldn't even look me in the eye standing 1.5 feet away from him.

I had my smoke.. the many heavy bags, I'm a big lad and my suitcases were half my size, I pulled them back into the stairs area and had a seat, I badly needed the toilet and some water.after 10 minutes, I went back up the stairs leaving my bags which were only at the bottom of the very small staircase, I bumped into a workie, nice guy (English)  but he couldn't help.. I asked him 'do you know where the toilets are?' he said 'Yes, but they ones are for work staff only, I dunno where the public toilets are.' I went back down stairs feeling kinda faint, I started asking people if anyone could spare a pound for a drink, they just walked by me, there was a water stand with an italian guy, I begged him for a little water, and he was very busy with customers, he said 'y'know this is the business' with a kind sympathetic shrug.. a sit for a moment, and then went back to him telling him I understood but my card was blocked and I just came off a 60 hour flight..he paused, then poured me a cup of water, God Bless him. He wasn't the only kind person that day, An English businessman with a very expensive suit, I asked if I could borrow his phone and when he was done he did let me borrow it, I didn't get any answer but he was nice about loaning me it in the first place.

after an hour and few other smokes, I decided to go and try my backup card (second account for savings which is usually empty), I hauled all my heavy suitcases/bags backup the stairs and began to look for a shop, thinking an RS McColls or WH SMith would take cards.. and right enough there was a WH Smith, I stood in a 20 minute queue, with a bottle of pepsi and some crisps and a bar of chocolate hoping i had money in the second account, as I approach the counter, my phone rings at the same moment as I desperately try to remember the pin on my second card.. I had given up on my phone even though it was charged as there's something you get used to while international travelling, other phone networks eating all your credit, honestly its one of the biggest scams going! I digress, I have 5 people behind me impatiently waiting I can feel their sighs and burning eyes and I trying to rem my pin and I pickup my phone and it's my aunt asking if I got home O.K.

the phone call dies, but I manage to have enough in my second account to get my stuff. and my aunt phones back..I got back to Glasgow later that night through much effort of my family. But yknow.. who stood out in this story apart from the kind italian guy?.. that polis! Wouldn't talk to me because I was Scottish..in my few times I went for a smoke, one time I saw him helping an English couple lift a baby in a pram out of a people mover,  sounds like nice guy eh? except when your Scottish then you get nothing!

----------------------------------

Myself and Ruthy have had a few rejection letters from the ENGLISH Embassy, first guy, I am going to go ahead and guess he was a left over Labour civil servant,  in his rejection letter he outlined what we needed to do to correctly for our next application, which we did.. but, sadly now there was a Tory civil servant, I think this is a female I don't know but the tone seems that of a women, this women is a nasty piece of work, picking up on things that are none of her concern, petty things like the a photocopy not correctly squared off.. the first letter we got from her was kinda cheeky.. the second letter was a barefaced hate mail. She had refused us for NO REASON that ruthy could come for a wedding visa, we had planned our marriage in a lovely anglican church, Ruthy being Baptist I Catholic, Anglican 'via media' seemed the way, we provided all the required information including taking photographs of the church and venue signed  letters from my entire family and the priest.

refused.

On the third attempt and second with this ECO* my brother had just died, I wasn't coping very well and needed ruthy over to help me, we applied for a visitor visa, by this time I knew it was down to being Scottish and not English but I had a glimmer of uncertainty, the world of visa application is shrouded in mystery and apparently self-satisfaction of hatered, I digress, we had nothing to lose so we copied the letters of a welsh guy and his fiancee, we are in similar enough situations, same duration of knowing each other, same amounts of visits, I have close connection with ruth's family that it should be able to fix this.. I will admit he had more money than I and that she had a child, but because I am disabled, I am financially exempt .. well the welsh guy got his fiancee in and we got refused.. this ***** loves rubbing her ignorance right in my face, she talks about my finances as if I weren't disabled, as if I wasn't exempt.. she's either a stupid pig or doing it to wind me up, which I'll admit its working!

The only.. and I do mean ONLY reason I have provide my bank statements is to provide proof  I am in receipt of more than £120 a week. But then in her reply letter she talks as if I have to meet the financial requirements ..I'll tell you the reader something.. She ENJOYED refusing our marriage visa, because in the previous two letters ruthy was referred to as 'fiancee' in the third, even though we told her we were still engaged, she kept referring to ruthy as 'girlfriend'..

ENGLISH WITCH..die die die.. God curse you!

Now back to my point, oh you can say 'hey everyone get refused even English people' and you'd be right, except, they were refused because they failed to meet the criteria.. not because some EnglishWitch enjoyed sticking it to a Scotsman.

What kind of persons marries someone WITHOUT visiting their country first? Why can't ruthy meet my family?.. of that right because ENGLISH TORIES Q.Q

--------------------------------------------------

I have written this story before so better to re-post it here:

I was previously involved with an American woman. She was an ex army vet with all sorts of clearances.First time she came to visit she landed in Edinburgh. not a problem. Second time she landed in Heathrow. She was going through customs happily chirping 'I'm going to see my Scottish boyfriend' like she often did. As soon as she said Scottish, they pulled her. 7 hours of degrading treatment doing unspeakable things to her.

THIS IS ENGLAND. this is what England represents to me, this is what Britain represents to me.
People who think they can do such things and get away with them. and right enough they did get away with it, why? because they were English. Even though we are no longer together.. I wish i knew that woman's house that defiled my ex.. so I could set her house on fire!

I myself have never been detained in an English airport, but they day might come where i wish i had a Scottish embassy as an option to not slit a custom officer throat for trying to defile me.

-------------------------------------------------

I have lived in England twice as a child, once in King's Lynn Norfolk when I was around 6/7 yo and again in a town outside Bradford when I was 10/11 yo.

I have part of the story here:

As a child I lived in Norfolk England, we had moved away from a town outside of Glasgow, we were in Norfolk for a short time but still it left an impression on me. Even the teachers treated me with disdain, they would speak directly to me or to the other teachers about me, all this was directed by the theme i was Scottish, i was the butt of their jokes and criticisms. One teacher treated me abusively, I was 6 yo and 2 years later I realized why the German kid was so happy I came.  They use to call him.. well you can imagine, but now a Scot was there, the pressure was off for him, so the children could hate on a Scot, which going by their reaction was worse than certain german history.

But I will fill in the gaps..not everyone I met was nasty to me, but it was enough..

The teacher I referenced was from Oxford I was talking to him in the dinner queue, which is where I found out where he was from and also his joke about how 'oh you'll enjoy the hot showers down here in England then!'the other teacher was my teacher.. she was more like a prison warden for the first 2 months, until an incident happened and my mother phoned the school about a problem this teacher had caused me, after that she began being nice to me.. before this she didn't want to upset the children and so let them treat me as they pleased.. the Oxford guy was also our P.E teacher, I fell in the mud while arguing with another pupil, I was caked about an inch thick, he came over and gave us both 5 laps of the pitch, which the other boy only had to do one.. it was around 3C outside, it was freezing cold and I was 7yo. And no, I am not misremembering the order of this happening, I met him in the first week he was cheeky about me being Scottish and this mud thing was a coincidence.

I lived in a town outside of Bradford.. most of the people were nice to me, and it didn't matter that I was Scottish, only went it came right down to the nail did you see the scottish/english divide.. I won't go into detail so not to embarrass my mum publically, but we were in need and it was -12C snow everywhere, and because my mum owed a woman money she wouldn't loan us blankets.. I figured it was cold enough she would have lent us them if we were English, but you never know with some people.

Actually I'll be honest and say it wasn't because we were Scottish but because of money.. so I guess I was treated well/the same as others in Bradford, it leaves me with the impression if I went back I would be treated just normally, better to *tell the truth* than spread a lie you wished was true to prop up your point...

but .. you should heard some of the thing those norfolk kids said to me.. 'my dad says Scottish people are evil'  ..  'my ? says that Scottish people are liars/thieves' one little girl said to me.. 'Scotland's not a real country it's just pretend ..the real country is England, and you's just pretend' that's one clever little 8yo  (she was held back a year ironically). And here we are; 30 some years later, and she's right.. even though we have our own parliament, we are still 'pretending' to be in charge of ourselves..sad really.

The regular throwing me in puddles and punching me in the face etc.. didn't mention that, but as a Scot I suppose that's normal for up here, but I should mention it because the motivation was because I was Scottish and they were English. And as I said the teacher turned a blind eye to this for the first two months, even though she was playtime monitor.

After that.. one time she bought me an ice cream and gave me the playtime monitors whistle making me in charge while she went and got the ice cream.. that was nice of her and I still haven't forgotten that kindness even all these years later. That Oxford guy showed up 10 mins later and was about to give me telling off for stealing the whistle when the teacher came and told him she had done it and handed me an ice cream as a reward for looking after the playground. that was nice :)

----------------------------------

My Grandad God rest him, was very much a unionist, but I remember one time coming back from my aunts in Bletchley (near London).. I was 16/17yo we had went down for a 1 night stay, I forget the reason, on the trip back the weather was wild, we were approaching Cumbria/the pennines, you could see the vans almost being blown over with the wild wind, the rain was coming down too in light sheets..

The Police pulled us over and I said to my Granda.. 'oh good I can have a smoke!' he turned to me and said 'STAY IN THE ****** CAR!'.. he got out and walked up to the police officer the wind blowing him around a bit.. I cracked open the window a little and lit a smoke, they talked for a while, long enough i finished my smoke.. he got back in the car and said 'I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT!'
I was a bit shocked.. meekly asking 'what happened granda?'.. no reply came..

He knew I was a big believer in independence back then, and I spoke to him often about it.. I can only assume that was the problem, that we had Scottish licence plates and they had pulled us over because of that.

Later when we were almost home he made a vague reference to what happened 'people are all the same.. they don't trust you'.

-----------------------------------------------

In Scotland it is considered arrogant to speak 'proper English', so the English strangers I have interacted with all seemed arrogant to me, no matter if they were or weren't.. of most, I think they were being arrogant. They like to talk about their money and how they have loads of it.. and all the stuff they have up here compared to where they lived in England, how easy life is here financially  compared to England ..

my online English friends.. welp.. mixed bag really, I have 2 acquaintances who are pretty rich by Scottish standards, one lives in Scotland, it kinda burns me that he is SO pro England, and hates living here, but gets paid a small fortune and then has the cheek to vote in the inde referendum, he didn't even want to move here, it was because his boss made him, Scotland is where the cash is as far a the building trade goes.

I have another online friend, whom I known for around a year, good dude.. English, we have had many conversations about life, but mostly about the MMO I used to play.

In my town of Dumbarton  it is swamped with English people.. its so weird.. coz before 2010, you would never hear of any English being here.

I don't feel safe in England.. it's a foreign place to me. I don't want to go there anyway.. why would I? there's nothing there that will bring me enjoyment.. i'm not going to cite 'oh pole hating nazi english' blah blah..all need say is : its the look behind the eyes.. behind the English facade, that they know you are Scottish and they will if given the opportunity treat you less than an English person.. this look, I don't think I have ever seen an Englishman or Englishwoman who did not have it behind their eyes. And that's enough for me to not want to visit a country.

I tell Ruthy.. IF you get permission to come to the U.K.,, 'WE WON'T SEND YOU VIA ENGLAND' She'll come directly to Scotland. When hopefully soon Nicola Sturgeon (and I DO hope Ruth Davidson and Kezia Dugdale support her in this) gets hold of Scottish Immigration.. that we have Scottish Consultes that deal with Scottish Citizens visa applications (and British Embassies that deal with England N.I. and Wales).. then if we get refused.. I will take it HONESTLY.. it will come from a Scottish SNP civil servant, who will tell us the truth. no slim shadow of doubt of racism.. just honesty.

on that note.. I'll end this for now, my sleep apnoea gives my memory a bit of a kicking even though I have a 'gifted' IQ.. I hope very soon Ruthy will come and see my land which I love.

*(laughable that she could be considered an 'officer' of anything when her job is to stamp refusals and drink tea)

Styles of Government..

Hi

I recently shared my thoughts on styles of Government.. I think I would like to go into more depth and build upon that.. using part of the article I wrote as a template.

I will include the 'evil' styles also for a broader understanding of what goes on.

GOVERNMENT STYLES

Ah'm Left o' Center..but we'll get tæ that in a minute..

Right Wing

Fascism

Fascism is when the government a.k.a 'The State' rules with an absolute iron fist. Usually one person is in charge but can be more. Civil rights and personal freedoms are non-existent, the worker is little more than a slave to 'The State'. During Adolf Hitler's fascist regime of the Nazi Party, he enacted a general marshall law, where people could be shot in their beds by the SS, the elite soldiers. This form of fascism came from racist beliefs, and so the people with the required gene's were elevated, and the people without cast down and used for cattle.

There are other versions of fascism, like when an individual is given a 'god' like status, and people of that country are brainwashed from birth into believing this individual is 'good' no matter their actual morality. In a certain far eastern country, this rings true, it seems in this style of fascism the people are well looked after, or at least by this individual. The problem is the people have no choice, even if they are well looked after, whether poorly looked after or well looked after, they must 'worship' that individual regardless of their personal feelings, of which yes, they are denied because they are brainwashed. Fascism seeks to use propaganda to further brainwash it's people, book burning of contrary literature, viewpoints and criticisms. Censorship of opposing moral stances.

Many times the Military have 'cart'e blanch'e' to rule as they see fit, and it is not like in democracies where such behaviour is not only considered shameful, but punished with imprisonment. Soldiers are there to guard and protect, not to rule and judge.

Pro-isolation OR Pro-Country ownership.

Fascism can also be 'left-wing' but that's much rarer.

Imperialism

Much like fascism but with a slightly kinder face. An Empire begins when one country takes over other countries with hostility, they then 'buy out' that countries resources and employ that countries people, unifying the Empire as one peoples.. sounds like a good idea, but in practise what happens is exploitation of the lowest people in that Empire, the already obscenely rich become unflatteringly so and slavery, either physical or financial,  is common place, despite imperialism having human rights laws, these are mostly used to protect those with the most money.

English Tories are Imperialists, which is a system of exploitation of the poor. I don't know if the Scottish Tories are this too, they might just be Conservatists, to show deference to these systems, I'll explain..

Conservatists, believe in the work ethic 'if I earn it I own it, it is my right to keep it'

Imperialists believe in the work ethic 'If I can make someone else earn it for me, I have the right to it'

Imperialism includes using positions of power for profit, which is illegal in many countries.

When this style government is used: Food gets more expensive, they highly taxate the poor, they tax everything they can; including making new laws so they can tax the poor even more. They favor those who empowered them with rewards. They *sometimes* use fascist tactics to get what they want, using propaganda and censorship. They 'privatise' national assets for a personal profit, taking what does not belong to them, and selling it because they have the power to do so in government.

Pro-war - Pro-Country ownership.

Basically the English Conservatives are as I would put it are ..EVIL.
The Anti-robin hood of the political world..like some crazy council of Bond villains.

Conservatists

Not solely capitalists but mostly so.

Now English Tories who invented a lot of this malarky, ironically don't count as Conservatists, as mentioned above they are Imperialists, which is a system of exploitation of the poor.

Conservatism is different, and is a morally good system, here I'll explain how..

The Government, a Conservative one, opens dialogue with big business, has universal low tax, for both big business and everyone, they encourage jobs by bringing whole industries to a country.

What this means practically is.. food is very cheap, jobs are plentiful, no duty or import taxes but sometimes these CAN be increased with the desire to encourage home market products purchasing instead of importing, but this is a fallacy, as most countries don't make every kind of everything and so it increases the cost of things, giving people less to spend which defeats the purpose.

Basically everything gets cheaper to buy. But spending on public services gets less, as obviously, there is less money.  It's very much a philosophy, of self-determination through personal achievement, however it does lead to denial of public funds to help the most vulnerable, which is much more like fascism. A 'good' Conservatist realizes the need for 'some sort' of social care, even protecting the NHS and humanising public services for the vulnerable.. a great example of a what I a socialist, would term a 'true' conservatist is John Major, a great man in his own right, non-imperialist, with a responsible outlook  on social care. Whereas Margaret Thatcher was out for war upon opposing ideologies and philosophies, that opposed Imperialism and Conservatism.

The best answer is.. to create so many jobs, that people who *can* work will work, because they see the huge profit of it; large houses, quality of life, increased purchasing power, which the income tax in turn pays for social care. quantity vs quality, why do so many other countries have a 'boom' in their job markets.. well because their economies are weak and their jobs low paid, many conservatists believe in 'bring the jobs home' however, if you have people willing to work for such low pay, these jobs are gone and cannot return unless that government *seriously* funds industrialization in an industry, this is why I believe in the European Socialist tactic of strong pro-immigration to bring industries and exchange jobs, I am not saying it could *never* work, but whilst we have Imperialists in England at the helm, the idea of 'home industries returning' is a sinking ship, as Imperialists will *always* do whatever is the more profitable for themselves at that particular time, including selling-out industries to other markets.

They also need to be mediator between workers and management, should a dispute break out. Many governments have failed at this, not just conservative ones either*. The power of the bosses is much greater than the power of the worker for Imperialists, it's less so with Conservatists, but still they want a good outcome for both sides, or they will lose the next election.

Conservatists also 'privatize' national assets, but do so with the idea of reducing public costs which they return to the people, via drastically lowering property tax, mortgage payments, housing costs, making new housing at high quality but at a very low price. The idea being, they just created a load of jobs and now need to house the people who have a job. The victorian era, is a good example of Conservatists housing, huge houses as rewards for hard working, the English tories, don't give a toffee fig if you live in a cave or a cardboard box as long as you pay your taxes.

Right of Center

The little wandered 'Right of Center'.. am næ expert, but these seem tæ be Libertarian parties. Low taxation, low public spend, .. and here's a new one, they will refuse to make laws that interfere with your daily life, in other words, they will accept things like legalization of certain drugs for consumption, legalization of firearms. you want tæ homeschool yur kid?.. that's fine! They put a high value on personal liberty.

Think aboot the movie 'The Purge' as an extremist right of center party, who got control and took their desire for personal freedom to insane levels. No modern Right of Center party wants this, they don''t condone murder or theft.

They are both anti-war and anti-immigration, the conservatives being pro-war and anti-immigration,
They enjoy encouraging small business and big business alike, and will give tax breaks to banks who will loan out money to small businesses. For them it's all about enabling the individual to do whatever it is they want to do*.

Center

Here in the middle, we have a start to social care..

These parties, have moderate taxation across the board, offer free higher education, heavy focus on financially helping small to medium businesses, medium public spend, little to no co-operation with trade unions.

What does this practically mean? They are trying to stem inflation so they can spend more, they are trying to increase the middle class by this system, but personally I have yet to see it work. What *should* happen: prices for goods stay the same, but jobs increase, the moderate tax is funnelled in to banks, and the welfare requirees 'live' off the interest. What *does* happen:Well they can support a stop on inflation, many projects have to be scrapped due to not enough funding, usually because they didn't create enough jobs to support social care/welfare.

Left

Left of Center

ho!ho!

Here's me :)

The Left is called Socialism.. but the brand we use is European Socialism, which is a much watered down but still valid style of government.

Low tax for the poorest, moderate tax for the average worker, low to moderate tax on small and medium businesses, high tax for big business, take from the rich to give to the poor. High public spend, including free higher education, free medical and dental, free housing to those who cannot afford it or cheap housing to those who cannot afford to be on the housing ladder. Using the country's resources to achieve higher cash reserves for spending. Pro-immigration anti-war.

What does this practically mean? While the quality of food, *may* decline slightly, prices will be low and food plentiful,  jobs can be stifled unless that government is smart about the given resources, trade is paramount to good fiscal standing (see next paragraph) so this ties in with good immigration policies, so people are free to find jobs elsewhere and even to here from abroad.

But the important factor here is that if we have strong immigrationary relations with other countries, such as having a percentage of our populus from that countries people who have immigrated here and are happy, those countries are likely to share their businesses with us, and have workers plants here. It's just a different solution to the same problem, of lack of jobs. European Socialism.. gives tax breaks for such companies for idk the first 4 years under contact then resumes normal taxation, with the contract lasting..anywhere from (10 years?) upwards depending on how much money the company initially saved.

Ye'll never starve or see yur weans die in a hospital because ye didnay huv the money tæ pay them. The Tories accuse this of being the 'welfare state'.. but really its a lack of effort on England's part to replace jobs they squandered in Scotland. European Socialism.. is kind. It's fair. And most importantly, it's morally justifiable. Much of Conservatism *can* be justified, it makes sense, that; 'the worker is entitled to their wages', however, I am fairly sure, if I, personally, lived in a Conservatist society, I would be dead.

The SNP are Left of Center, meaning we believe in taking care of our poorest and most vulnerable, but also we strongly encourage small to medium businesses. Our housing is livable, it's not great, but to a 'human standard' I would like to see Scottish houses being build be much larger, as many houses I feel in Scotland are 'rabbit hutches' due to Imperialism of the past decades, I feel even European Socialists in this Kingdom do not realize we 'have gotten used to' the small houses so much so, we have stop realizing how small these houses are. If jobs are planned then the middle class should increase and deserve 4 times the size of house we currently offer. I lived in America for a short time, even people who work in semi-low paying jobs can buy a huge prefab house for £120k, here for a 1 bedroom rabbit hutch people are paying £60k at least. it's shocking!

Labour of modern days has been known to both adopt fully, and to mix Left and Left of Center style policies.

Scottish Greens are Left of Center, with the English Greens seeming more Center to me.
Green policies are; dependency on green energy, lower cost of everything, using national resources to create cheaper living.

I like the above, but I don't want them to waste money to not get a return, they should be careful what they do. Most 'green parties' of the past have been money wasting hippies, this is why they didn't get elected.. until Patrick Harvie came along, he looked and spoke like a lawyer, and that give people cause to trust him.

Left

The full 'Marx mile'.

A welfare state, where everything is free, but your work is sanctioned by the government. Takes care of children and the elderly, resources are used for profit, nationalization of companies, also standardizing them. The power of the worker is much greater than the men with money because of trade unions.

Inclusionary immigration but if a party has the above and is anti-immigration, they *can* become fascist. Anti-immigration is the cornerstone of fascism, this is why the English tories are accused of this at present, with the above power over everyone and anti-immigration it can become inevitable.

There are a lot of pro's to this style of government, like ensuring you children are fed, educated and will be safe from destitution their whole life. The con's are the power the state has is absolute.

Tommy Sheridan, and the Solidarity Party are the only Scottish fully Left party of note. Tommy seems like a good guy imho, but he again imho, needs more lawyers in the Solidarity Party, people that can be trusted by the Scottish people. But then again, I wouldn't like to see Scotland become fully Left and Marxist.

Communism

In theory, a great system, everyone is equal, no one is above anyone, but I will say the caveat of 'no religion' stings me, I am Catholic and enjoy my faith, I wouldn't give it up for Communism. But I digress..

A system where: everything is free, the government gives grants to people, much like Socialism, money is pretty much useless, you receive coupons from the government, food is pretty much free, work is allocated by your skill level which was assessed in school and university by the state.  You have personal but not professional autonomy.

In practise, corruption.

The selfish nature of human beings ruins communism, the 'one upmanship'  beats out the 'common good'. Communism by its very nature is SUPER anti-war, as it breaks the ideals of equality, but in practise, no country can remain untouched by the world, and by the above token of corruption and self interest, war is inevitable.

Modern Russia, is no longer communist, its mixes traits of all the above styles, but especially, Marxist Socialism, European Socialism, Monarchy and Capitalism.

'Czar Putin' seems like a good person to me, and what the world doesn't realize is, he is not setting himself up as a dictator .. but as the new defacto King of Russia, an 'Elected Monarch'. They killed their monarchy, now it seems a return is in order, perhaps to wash away the blood of the past..?

While I say Russia is no longer communist, the traits Russia use to govern are very complicated and could be considered a new political system in their own right, they even use parts of Imperialism and Communism, which are diametrically opposed philosophies. But none the less, the way Russia use it is quite clever. By having a an Elected Monarch, they have 'some' imperialism (attempted acquisition of the Ukraine, for example) , but by making sure that person is beneficent, they ensure a 'common good'. And of communism, I understand, but my info might be outdated, their housing system is still communist based.

The Russian parties allow religious freedom, and personal freedom is higher now, than it's been for a 100 years. The outside world, as you may understand are terrified of Vladimir Putin becoming a fascist dictator, because of the power he holds.. however as I've said, I think people have misunderstood what he is doing. I listened to him talk about his faith and his family, and it moved me. I *think* he is just setting up an elected monarchy.

I have a couple of Russian online friends, they say things like 'Russia is **** compared to the west, but it's better now than it's ever been, it's worth staying and trying to contribute, if people leave now they are just traitors' and 'getting a job in Russia now is pretty easy, but the wages are awful'. I guess my friends when comparing russia to the west, are referencing quality of life items.. like idk fitted kitchens and decent furniture.. I mean my friends have things like iPhones, I assume they mean household goods because I've seen pictures of russian houses where the furniture looks like it fell out of the 1970s.

In theory :   inclusionary immigration but controlled, anti-war.
In practise:  anti-immigration, secretive wars.

Theocracy

Is where religious tenants guide and rule the governing body.

I don't have as much objection to this as some do, but as a Catholic, I believe in separation of Church and State, but also DEEP cooperation of Church and State.

Many Islamic countries are theocracies, and while I endorse the rule of law given by God, I cannot agree with all the Islamic theocracies do. Such as capital punishment or maiming as punishment, but then again these countries are pretty young, and it was done throughout the English Empire for many years, even through the profession of being 'Christian' was near absolute.

----------------------

Meritocracy

This is a style of Government (LEFT or RIGHT wing, either or both) that those with highest IQ are chosen for government.

Exceptionalism

Government chosen on race and affluence. right wing, pretty much identical to Imperialism but also racist. The KKK are exceptionalists as well as religious extremists.

Objectivism

These are the extremist 'Right of Center', they do not make laws, but seek to abolish them, even making murder legal. The only law they respect is 'survival of the fittest/smartest'. This was the character 'Andrew Ryan's' beliefs in the game 'Bioshock', he took the ideas and made it a capitalists venture, building on Objectivism. As is the movie 'The Purge'.

NOTES:

*This is why Labour was so popular long ago, trade unions.
* (not crimes like theft or murder)

Hitler's Germany was a 'Conservative' style of Fascism and North Korea is a Socialist/Communists style of Fascism. Stalin's Russia was also a communist style of fascism. Japan's old regime was a style of Imperialist fascism.. England has never been fully fascist, but they came close a quite a few times, the lead up to the wars of independance, and English occupancy of Scotland Oliver Cromwell's England, while having many pro's and con's, one was that the state and his word was absolute.. Queen Elizabeth I's reign, Henry VII, William of Orange. Scotland meanwhile, has only came close once, during the highland clearances.

TBH there have been many Socialist/Communist Dictators esp. in South America..but when you consider they were manufactured by the USA, which is a conservatists country, you can see what happened to 'frame the picture'. The US itself has 'above the law people' .. such as Nixon and Bush Sr.. both war criminals by my estimation. I heard the tapes of Nixon laughing in the white house about sending more troops to vietnam.. it was disgusting, that he in his most honest thoughts, considered those lives as so disposable.. he should have gotten the jail! And Bush Sr.. who manufactured a war with Iraq so he and his Halliburton buddies could play golf while making money.. its awful.

: You seem to have a large family!

Yes, but still, I have had strained relations with some and outstanding relations with others.

: What do you mean?

Well sir, even though I rebelled against my Father Angle Britannia, He has supported me many times and I He in certain endeavours of peaceful and profitable action. But I hear Alba is thinking about leaving him, and He has decided to cut ties with His Friends, some of whom I am related to! I was not entertained by the expressions of separation and reduced potential profit, from either or both of them.

When Alba visits me, she comes to tell me that I am *somehow* wrong in my endeavours. I love Her, she is my Mother, I respect Her, She has fortitude and cunning in invention I admire in my utmost core, however, I did not only rebel against my Father but Her also, that she often thinks to instruct me in Democracy and War. I realize She was present at My birth and made sure I had a choice, but then I need to be what I am expected to be; an example of profitability to the world, even though She sees me as an explorer and artist, I am not these things centrally, but externally.

E'ire is softer in tone than Alba, but says similar things, but I expect this because they are twins. I enjoy helping E'ire, I cannot say the same about Alba. The things I do for Alba is because I know she is a genius, and I respect that so much I cannot help myself. And I hope one day to have that same trait. It does not diminish my love for Her.. only that I enjoy Her company the most when she is with my Father. She wrote me a letter telling me, in Her own poetic way, She disapproves of my two party state. The reason I have my democracy this way, is that it is the most profitable. She decries it as apathy, ..but so be it! I want to rule, and so it shall be!

: what are your hobbies?

:laughs:

Oh my! good sir!.. I have so many I find them hard to count!!

I am an entertainer of the world in every Art, I explore space itself, I love Fashion.. and of course technology & culture.

I am told that I make bad food that tastes good :laughs: much like one of my Mothers!!
I enjoy a Bourbon Whiskey, a beer and much sporting.
I enjoy to play against Canada in ice sports, and against Mexicana at Soccer.
I think I win almost all the time :laughs:

: Is it true you have contentions with Mexicana?

No sir, I do not. But.. it is true I do not like how She looks at me jealously at times.
I think our relationship is fine so long as she stays where She should. We also have a great time, we enjoy partying together in the sun! :smiles:

: May I ask you a bracing question?

Yes sir, I think you may.

: it was revealed to the world you lied about a great man who died (JFK). What do you say about this?

In life, I am not perfect, I think many people are not. I have at times had to defend people I wished i did not have to, for the sheer fact they are unworthy of Me, that man dying was the third greatest shame of my life. And yet.. I know i cannot guarantee that it will not happen again. All I can do is hide the facts so that people will not notice it as much and perhaps I can move on with my shame and forget.

:Thank you for your time Americana

Why sir, no, thank you for empowering My voice!

: Gentil sourire:
