The reason Labour are left behind by many Scots now; it was hypocrisy to not support Scotland's independence but support it around the world for other countries.
It's a strange time we live in.. I mean everyone* seen you jumping for joy on the telly when a Conservative got voted in to boot out a SNP member.
I am certainly not the one to try to convince you of a independent Scotland's challenges but likely success.. I have voted SNP since I was 18yo, and am a party member.
But I will say this.. hypocrisy has no place in socialism. It is founded on equality.. and using Labours need for political gain in England as a bargaining chip.. you might as well give up and call yourself a Centrist.
I admire Nicola Sturgeon.. she stood up for us in our hour of need. Good to see Richard Patrick and Wullie had the skeen sense a'naw. BUT if Nicola had said nothing.. everyone else was willing to roll over and let Westminster scratch their tummy and let Alba be told 'you're a good girl!'.
It was nothing less than heroic.
You have supported independence in the past albeit privately .. don't you think there are MANY Labour voters who would love a choice.. Labour + Union OR Labour + Independence.
Jeremy Corbyn needs Scotland to become Prime Minister of England (Britain) because the south west of England won't vote for him. But I ask this.. why should Scots care about all this palava, when we can be independant .. and FINALLY be happy!!

Take the mature route, be fiscally responsible with people's lives by focusing good governance on Scotland via independence?
Næne o' us nationalists think.. it'll be ferraris and krystal the day efter independence. We're no thinking we're going be Dubai. But for our children and their children.. THEY will reap the benefits of Scotland's resources.. even with 0% oil.. as I said just under 1/3rd of Europe's renewable energy.. Scotland is blessed.
